I craft text. While I’m an experienced enough writer that I can work in many different styles, my natural tone lends itself best to professional and academic writing. I think of mine as a business-casual style. It’s the button-up shirt with khakis of the writing world. Not too stodgy. Not too edgy. Maybe it wears a sports jacket sometimes. Probably it has on comfortable shoes. There may be some light humor and word play, and there will be definitely be some links and citations.

Often, companies have a team of experts that they want to craft their text, but who aren’t experienced writers.
